Welcome to The Temperance, a beautiful pub situated by Putney Bridge. We are located on the historic former site of The Temperance Billiards Hall and have just re-opened following refurbishment.
Whether it’s catching up with friends over lunch, having a gossip with colleagues or lingering over dinner and drinks in the evening, this is the perfect place to sit back, relax and escape the chaos of London life. Being only a stone’s throw from Craven Cottage Stadium, we show all major sporting action on SKY Sports HD and ESPN. With our giant plasmas and projector screen, you won’t miss a beat.
Here at The Temperance, our food is very important to us. We believe that pub food should be simple, tasty and freshly prepared. We serve good-quality traditional pub grub, with a mixture of old favourites and classic British dishes. We also love our real ale, we use suppliers from across the UK to provide a rotating selection of cask ales. Let us know what floats your boat and we’ll do our best to get it in for you!
