Hailing from Philadelphia, Goodwin's roots in blues and roots-based music serve as a solid foundation, but his performances transcend genres. He is currently serving as the musical director, bassist, and co-writer for the Katie Henry Band, and has performed with icons like Abbey Lincoln and Benny Golson to collaborating with contemporary artists such as Lauryn Hill and Sting. Expect to hear a wide ranging mix of jazz, funk, and rhythm and blues.
